Duties
-Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and preferences.
-Perform various types of massages, including deep tissue, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques.
-Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to effectively address client concerns.
-Maintain accurate records of treatments provided and client progress.
-Provide excellent customer service by ensuring clients feel comfortable and relaxed during their sessions.
-Stay informed about medical terminology relevant to treatments and collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed.
-Uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards in the treatment area to ensure a safe environment for clients.
-Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend follow-up treatments as necessary.
Qualifications
-Valid massage therapy license or certification from an accredited institution.
-Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
-Knowledge of trigger point therapy, pain management techniques, medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
-Experience in a med spa setting is preferred but not required.
-Ability to perform deep tissue massage and other therapeutic techniques effectively.
-Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and assessment.
