The Hidden Jewel Studio is seeking a Licensed Massage Therapist, ideally a new graduate, who is eager to learn under direct mentorship from a studio owner with 22+ years of experience. This role offers a clear path into an established client base, as the owner gradually steps back from hands-on massage. Clients are informed of this upcoming change and are willing to trust in a new therapist trained by the owner.
What This Role Includes:
Gradual transition of the owner’s existing massage clients
New client bookings through the studio
Primarily 90-minute table deep tissue massage sessions
Up to 4 clients per day
Weekly off-site chair massage gig provided
Techniques & Modalities:
Deep tissue massage (required interest)
Hot stones
Cupping
Gua sha tools
Wet towel applications (back, face, feet)
Back scrubs & foot scrubs
Signature protocol training provided
Schedule:
Part-time to start
Consistent weekly schedule
Opportunity for growth as client demand increases
Pay Structure:
Hourly pay during training during non-client time to be onsite as you train and build a clientele
Commission-based pay per service once booked with clients
100% of gratuity is yours
Additional income from weekly chair massage event available – Chair provided if needed
Payroll employee position, taxes included (Full pay breakdown shared during interview process)
Ideal Candidate:
Active Texas LMT license
New or newer graduate eager for mentorship
Comfortable or interested in deep tissue work
Open to learning a signature massage protocol
Professional, reliable, and client-focused
