Deep Massage: The Lauterstein Method: 32 hours. Learn TLC’s unique approach to myofascial therapy. In this program, you will learn 30+ new deep massage techniques to help clients release tension and the effects of injury much more quickly and thoroughly. You will learn deep massage techniques for the whole body – the erector spinae, multifidus and rotatores, quadaratus lumborum, trapezius, levator scapula, gluteus maximus, gluteus medius, tensor fascia lata, hamstrings, quadriceps, it band, tibialis anterior, fibularis, gastrocnemius/soleus, rectus abdominis, pectoralis major, scalenes, the deep suboccipital muscles, the occipitofrontalis, and the facial muscles.
This curriculum is based on The Deep Massage Book – How to Combine Structure and Energy in Bodywork, a 2012 publication authored by David Lauterstein and published by Redwing Book Company.
