The Basics of “Selling” Hospital-Based Massage Therapy
Lauterstein-Conway is thrilled to present the first training in Texas by Lauren Muser Cates, a founding director of the Society for Oncology Massage, founder of Lighthold Massage Therapy in Virginia, and Program Director of Healwell Integrative Therapies in Arlington, Virginia.
Do you want to work in a hospital or other clinical setting doing massage therapy but you don’t know where to start?
Are you tired of being asked to volunteer to offer skills that you’ve spent a lot of time and money cultivating?
There is no silver bullet to solve the problem of creating viable opportunities for massage therapists in the hospital setting, but this course will provide you with the tools you need to measurably shorten the curve in getting to “yes” with key decision-makers in these clinical settings.
In this pathbreaking class:
- You will learn how to assess a hospital’s culture and structure to make the most compelling pitch possible.
- We will discuss and practice skills that will support you in creating concise, relevant materials that will educate, convince and inspire action.
- You will be ready to build a team of qualified massage therapists who set and maintain a standard of excellence that will do you and our profession proud.
- We’ll also compare and contrast the skills and knowledge necessary for clinical practice and private practice in way that will support you in making a clear case for the need for hospitals and clinics to engage with properly trained massage therapists.
