From the robust to the frail, seniors have specific needs when receiving massage.

This workshop details seniors’ special needs as well as addresses how massage therapists can accomodate – through hands-on techniques and modifications – the changes caused by aging.

Participants will also learn how to massage those in wheelchairs as well as the bed-bound. Additionally, special populations will be studied, including those with Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s and diabetes.

Peggy Rouh, Ph. D., LMT, MTI is the owner of A-a-a-h Massa-a-a-ge, PLLC.  Her business specializes in massage for senior citizens.  Certified in Geriatric Massage, she works with a variety of clients from the very robust to those bed- and wheelchair-bound.
