6 CE hours

Course Tuition: $160

About the Workshop

Clients frequently come in with neck complaints  – but therapists often do not know the anatomy of the neck thoroughly.  In this six-hour workshop you will learn the anatomy of the neck in detail.  You will learn new techniques for all the major muscles of the posterior, lateral and anterior neck.  These techniques – drawn from Zero Balancing and Deep Massage: the Lauterstein Method –  will work very effectively with the structure and energy of the neck.  You and your clients will enjoy – immediately – more positive, effective therapeutic outcomes!

Particular attention will be paid to trapezius, semispinalis capitis, the rotatores, rectus capitis posterior major and minor, obliquus capitis inferior and superior, the scalenes, sternocleidomastoid plus the intertransverse and nuchal ligaments.

As we pay more knowledgable and compassionate attention to the neck, we will be bringing the benefits of enlightened touch to all the neck’s functions:  keeping the head aligned: being an open passageway for breath, voice, and nourishment; and an essential connector of heart and mind, brain and body.
