About the Workshop:
This Course offers a comprehensive introduction to the benefits of incorporating Thai massage and stretching into structural rehabilitation techniques for the back and lower body. This course will take the fundamentals & principles of ancient Thai Massage by intergrating them with modern structural assessment techniques and bodywork.
Students will demonstrate proficiency in structural thai massage for back and lower body and will have an understanding in the connection between thai massage philosophy and how it relates to structural integration and integrity.
Students will demonsatrate the basic principles of thai massage in reference to structural integrity and describe the indications and contraindications of structural thai.
About the Instructor:
Siobhan has been a massage therapist for 20+ years and certified master bodyworker since 2011; certified in Strucural Bodywork and Traditional Thai massage since 2011 and 2013 respectively.
"My first love in massage was shiatsu which opened my eyes to the understanding of how the energy of the body effects the structure and visa versa. I have been incorporating these techniques with my clients to increase the effectiveness and longevity of the bodywork done."
Siobhan is currently a full-time massage therapy instructor at The Lauterstein-Conway Massage School and bodyworker specializing injury rehab and pain relief in private practice in central TX.
